WRECKS BETWEEN TRAINS
A train wreck is a type of disaster involving one or more trains. Train wrecks often occur as a result of miscommunication, as when a moving train meets another train on the same track; or an accident, such as when a train wheel jumps off a track in a derailment. A head on collision between two trains is colloquially called a "cornfield meet".
Collisions between two trains are unlike collisions between two cars in numerous ways. First, the massive size of trains make the and damage are significant. And most importantly, unlike car accidents, collisions between two trains are always avoidable. There is reason with today's technological advances that two trains should ever collide.
