Electronic Scooters in Raleigh

Posted by Ann Tatum | Dec 06, 2018 | 0 Comments

If you've been to downtown Raleigh, chances are you've seen them. In fact we watched a young man get hit right in front of the Tatum & Atkinson office on Glenwood Avenue!

Electric scooters have made their way to Raleigh. A California based company called Bird has placed more than 150 electric scooters across Raleigh. The scooters can reach a speed of 15 miles per hour and are dockless, meaning they can be picked up and left in any public spaces.  There is app to find the scooters, then pay and unlock them for short rides through downtown Raleigh, Oberlin and Cameron Village.
